When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world. – John Muir

  Not What, But How

We are amidst an environmental-humanitarian crisis. The lifestyles of a privileged few have propelled our climate into unprecedented warming, polluted our already finite supplies of air, water, and land, and jeopardized a secure future for mankind. That is the first and last time that I'm going to be that serious. If you clicked on this green, environmental looking blog, you are probably aware of the aforementioned disjoint between humans and our earth. Now, we look to solutions.

Unfortunately, the average person does not run a multi-national company, nor is this person the head of a country. This person, similarly to you, can still help reduce humans' ecological and carbon footprint. Everyday, you make decisions, interact with other humans, and go about your life. This means that you can be part of the solution.

I aim to share what I know and will learn about how individuals can change their habits and decisions when it comes to food, transportation, waste, and everyday life. I want to help you reduce your environmental footprint, be active in your communities, and intertwine your needs with the needs of the rest of the beings that occupy this spaceship earth. I believe sustainability is an incredibly enriching outlet for creative thinking, so I will discuss my thoughts on sustainable innovations as well. As Einstein said, "problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them." Don't just think outside the box, repurpose the box as art and unleash your thinking without boundaries - this is where sustainable living lives.
